The guide rail and screw rod, the two most important components in the linear motor module, will lose the steel balls in the long-term movement, so we need regular care. In the linear guide rail, an oil nozzle is reserved in the slider part, which is convenient for us to add grease every day, inject grease through the pinhole, and then slide back to ensure the lubrication of the steel balls inside; After removing the upper cover plate of the ball screw, use a normal toothbrush to smear a little grease evenly between the screw rods. Apply it back and forth, and rotate it back and forth appropriately to ensure that the steel balls inside are fully absorbed. 1、 Daily inspection
1) Keep the motor clean, prevent dirt such as oil and water from entering the motor, and check whether the shield is damaged;
2) Whether there is abnormal vibration or noise in ball screw, linear guide rail and bearing;
3) Whether the motor and coupling have abnormal vibration or noise;
4) Whether there are unidentified dust, oil stains, scratches, etc. in all visible parts.
2、 The linear guide rail and ball screw must be well lubricated. Without regular lubrication, the friction between the steel ball and the ball groove will increase when the linear module is running, and the service life of the guide rail and screw rod may be shortened.
3、 Maintenance method
1) Once a month, add lubricating oil to the linear guide rail, clean the old oil stain, directly wipe the guide rail surface and bead groove with a dust-free cloth, and directly smear it on the guide rail surface.
2) Once a month, add lubricating oil to the ball screw, clean the old oil stain, directly wipe the screw mother and bead groove with a dust-free cloth, and directly smear it on the surface of the screw.
Check whether there is foreign matter or dust during monthly maintenance. If there is, wipe it with a dry-type dust-free cloth; If the linear module is not maintained, even if high-performance parts are used, it is difficult to achieve the expected performance effect, and it is easy to be damaged.
